Careers in finance and accounting
When we invest in you, and you invest in us, great things can happen.
The finance community at Principal doesn’t just analyze or organize data—it dives into it to understand a bigger picture. Team members challenge themselves to think critically and ask hard questions to ensure we’re working as efficiently and effectively as possible.
That same spirit drives our accounting community, which offers our teams something rare in the accounting space: the opportunity to elevate our reporting practices, tackle complex challenges across projects and industries, and explore opportunities to push the boundaries of an accounting career.
“While I’ve worked here, I’ve been single, been the mom of young kids, and been a caretaker for a parent. Through these different seasons of life, I’ve taken advantage of being able to figure out what works for both my job and my personal life, which I see as a ‘fit.’ I can’t think of another time I’ve felt like work and life were in complete balance.”
